At St Philip Evans the four purposes of the new curriculum for Wales are at driving force of our teaching and learning. Through a broad and balanced curriculum, we enable all pupils to be:

PE (Gym and Games) will take place on a Monday. Could Children please wear PE kit into school and they will stay in it all day. They will need warm kit and appropriate layers as games will be taking place outside. We will not be getting changed in school. If your child doesn't wear appropriate kit to school they will not be able to take part.
Can you ensure all uniform is labelled and Dinners are booked in advanced via Parent Pay.
Homework is assigned every Friday, and must be returned to school the following Wednesday.
Spelling tests are every Friday. Remember to practise your spellings regularly at home. Spellings will be given out the Friday before and you will have a week to learn these. We are using a new spelling platform which will be explained to the children.
Please read your reading books on a regular basis, and update your reading records frequently.
