Welcome to our homework page. 

Homework will be set every Friday on this webpage.

Homework should be completed by the following Wednesday.

You will need your child's login sheet to access the different online portals to complete homework.

Homework Friday 27th May 2022

1. World Ocean Day- On Wednesday 8th June we will be celebrating World Oceans Day. In classes we will be learning about different animals that are endangered that live in our Oceans. For your homework we want you to prepare a costume to wear to school on the 8th June with an ocean theme.

Here are some suggestions:

  • Blue Ocean outfit
  • Ocean animal themed outfit
  • Your own save the oceans themed outfit
  • An ocean themed hat
  • A Save the oceans poster to carry with your outfit

1. The Tiger who came to Tea- create a ‘tiger’ to enhance our learning of the story, ‘the tiger who came to tea’. This can be a drawing, painting, papier-mâché and/or any other art/collage materials. The work doesn’t need to be uploaded to seesaw but please bring your tiger creation to school by next Friday.

6. Spellings- Next week, all children will sit a spelling test in class. The test will consist of several different phonic patterns and red words. Although there will be no spelling list for your child to learn, you can support them by ensuring they can spell words using all the read, write, inc. letter sounds in the 'letter formation' sheet at the top of the homework page.

Seesaw- Food Diary

When the children return to school after Easter, it will be assessment fortnight where we will assess children's reading, spelling and mathematics. Please ensure you continue to listen to your child read daily, whether that be using Bug Club or the reading book sent home. You will also be able to access all activities on Mathletics throughout the Easter holiday.
