Homework Friday 9th September

Reception: 'I am Special' - to make an a4 and a3 poster to tell us all about you and what makes you special. Things you could add to your poster include, you name, age and birthday, family members, hobbies, favourite food, things you like and dislike to do, handprints etc.

Year 1: As part of our new Come and See topic, we are learning all about 'Families'. We would like you to make a family tree. You can add photographs and/or pictures to your family tree. Please bring this is on Monday 12th September.

1. All children have brought home their story maps that they created in school. Please take a video of them telling their stories and send the video via seesaw. If your child can’t remember their original story then they can use the pictures they’ve drawn to help them create a new story. They should remember the story needs a beginning, middle and an end.

1. World Ocean Day- On Wednesday 8th June we will be celebrating World Oceans Day. In classes we will be learning about different animals that are endangered that live in our Oceans. For your homework we want you to prepare a costume to wear to school on the 8th June with an ocean theme.

Homework Friday 30th September

1. Seesaw- 'My Favourite Toy'

2. Bug Club Active Learn- Use your login sheet to access Bug Club. Read the assigned story and discuss the pictures. Click on the little 'bug' icons before finishing the book.

3. Reading books- Some children have brought home a reading book. Please listen to your child read this story and ask them questions about what they have read. Leave a comment in the yellow reading record and send the book and reading record back by next Wednesday.

4. Red Words- At the top of this webpage you will find a link to the 'Red words'. These are words that cannot be sounded out, we have to learn them from sight. Please help your child learn to read and write the Set 1 words.

5. Mathletics- Log into Mathletics using your login sheet. Please complete the assigned activity;
