Child: ... and the good news?

Witch: I'm taking you!

Child: But... we don't know you.

Witch: My name is Miss Deeds. I'm your supply teacher!

Child: Are you sure Miss Trumble is ill? She was ok at registration.

Witch: Ah, yes, she was all right then, but...she...suddenly didn't feel well.

Child: Excuse me for asking, Miss Deeds, but you don't look too well yourself... what's wrong with your face?

Your costume could be linked to part of the earth that you think needs to be protected such as a rainforest or ocean themed costume.

Homework Friday 16th October due on Wednesday 21st October 2020

Your Google Classroom assignment this weekend is linked to our virtues for this half term 'Curious and Active'.

You need to choose one of the tasks below to complete and upload it to the assignment on Google Classroom.

1. Create a poster encouraging people to be curious and active. Include definitions for the virtues. Illustrate how people can be active in their curiosity. For example, litter picking in the community to look after God's wonderful world. You may wish to make links to Laudato Si'.

2. Write a diary entry about a time that you have been curious and active. Include definitions for the pair of virtues. What happened? What were you curious about? How were you active in your faith? How did you put your faith into action? How did this shape your life?

Homework Friday 9th October 2020 due on Wednesday 14th October 2020

Google Classroom assignment - Mary prayer service

During the month of October we think about and honour Mary, the mother of Jesus. It is also important to make a special effort to pray the rosary. Look through the PowerPoint 'Mysteries of the rosary' that has been attached to the assignment on Google Classroom. Think: Why is this piece of scripture included as a mystery of the rosary? Why is this piece of scripture important to me? Use the Google Docs that you have been assigned called 'Gweddiwn planner' to plan your own Gweddiwn prayer service centred around Mary. You have been provided with some suggestions for each section but try and be as creative as possible. Make sure what you choose is suitable for the month of May. Write in full and detailed sentences in each box.
