Here's what we're learning about... Big Wide World!
During our Big Wide World we have learned lots about other countries and space!
Our Foundation Phase Celebration of Music and Dance theme was 'Space' which linked well with our context for learning. Year 2 children formed a percussion band to accompany all classes in their performances and the choir also sang beautifully!
In our topic, some of the girls in our class performed an Indian Dance also.
In Knowledge and Understanding of the World we conducted an investigation about gravity.
We went to the library during our World Book Day celebrations and enjoyed looking at the books all about the beautiful places in our world. Mair read us a great book and we completed a mapping activity based on the book. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
