For homework, we would like you to share with us a picture of your family. In class, we have been talking about our families and who lives in our house. You can either bring the picture to school or upload it onto Seesaw. We will then be joining in a group discussion to explain where in the world our families originate to celebrate that 'We come from all over the world'. Please bring in/upload your photo by Wednesday 13th September and tell us where your family comes from.

7. Food bank collection - We are kindly asking for donations for our Food Bank Collection. Thank you to those who have already donated, maybe you could buy a tin or packet of something nice with your pocket money to give to those in need?
Homework Friday 21st October 2022
1. Please log into seesaw and complete the activity- ‘Autumn is Here’
2. Bug Club Active Learn- Read/use the pictures to tell the story and click on all the ‘bugs’ to complete the book.
3. Reading book- Some children will have a reading book sent home. Listen to your child read every night and leave a comment in the yellow reading record. Return the yellow reading record and reading book to school in your child’s book bag.
4. Red Words- practise reading and writing these words (document at the top of the homework page). Children should be confident reading sets 1 to 5 by the end of reception and up to set 12 by the end of year 1. Children will be assessed on reading these words, weekly.
5. Mathletics- complete the assigned activity.
6. Spellings- Some children will have spellings. If your child has spellings to learn you would have been informed of their group via seesaw. Please see spellings below and help your child learn to spell the words from their group list ready for their spelling test on a Friday.
