Homework this week is for Worldbook day and can be found with explination on Seesaw. 

Spellings have been carried over so will be the same as last weeks and are on Edshed. 

PE will be on Wednesdays as normal. 

Homework Thursday 16th February 2023

1. Eisteddfod Competitions - Please see the document below for details of the Eisteddfod competitions. Please bring your competition entries to school on Monday 27th February. You can enter as many competitions as you wish.

2. Bug Club Active Learn- Read/use the pictures to tell the story and click on all the ‘bugs’ to complete the book.

3. Reading book- All children will have a reading book sent home. Listen to your child read every night and leave a comment in the yellow reading record. Return the yellow reading record and reading book to school in your child’s book bag.

4. Red Words- Practise reading and writing these words (document at the top of the homework page). Children should be confident reading sets 1 to 5 by the end of reception and up to set 12 by the end of year 1. Children will be assessed on reading these words, weekly.

5. Mathletics- complete the assigned activity

6. Spellings- We have introduced a new online platform to practise weekly spellings, called Spelling Shed. All children have been sent home with their new log in. Please keep this safe as they will need to use it weekly. For information about how to login and use spelling shed, follow the link below.

1. Create a Christmas diary- using paper, create a diary of your favourite memories from your Christmas holidays. This can be written, typed or scribed by a grown up, with photographs or drawings. Please bring in your diary on the first day back so we can use it for our activity.
