Opportunities

Remembrance Day
Year 2 pupils have designed and created their classroom altar to reflect Remembrance Day; an opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedom.

Mrs Browns Class Assembly: Signs and Symbols

At the end of Autumn Term 1, Year 2B had their class assembly. Parents, carers and grandparents were invited into the school to watch. Pupils shared their knowledge on their current Come and See topic, discussing the signs and symbols of Baptism. They shared artwork in response to the story of Jesus’ Baptism, an acrostic poem, hymns and prayers. Our work was then displayed in our classroom learning environment.

Month of Mary

During the month of October, we are honouring Mart, our Mother in Heaven. As part of our home learning, we have made our own Rosary beads to decorate our class altar with. We have also learnt to recite the Hail Mary and changed our altar cloth to blue.
