Our new topic is....
Holes, Spaces & Hiding Places.
Wizards & Witches Wow Day
To celebrate the end of our 'Mud Mess & Mixtures' topic, as the children had planned during pupil voice, we decided to dress up as Wizards & Witches and explored different mixtures to make magic potions....
We mixed different ingredients together with different coloured paint and food colouring and observed what happened.
Our magic potions fizzed and rose to the top of the container until it overflowed.
We had lots of fun exploring and experimenting with different mixtures and predicting what might happen.

Magic Mixtures
We have been working together to make an Easter garden
Science Week; Our mission in science week was to design and make a moon buggy to travel across the surface of the moon. We tested different materials and imagined how the moon might feel. First we explored the bikes and space hoopers and pretended to be like Astronauts exploring push and pull forces and learnt all about friction. We then tested our moon buggy on different ramps and measured how far they travelled. We enjoyed making our moon buggy so much we decided to work as a group to make a group moon buggy using different materials.
