The Ocean

It roars like a lion,
Yet so calm and sincere,
Like a refined diamond.
Much beauty lurks here.

It's in the ocean you find true beauty,
Where worlds hide in the deep.
The ocean is where you find mystery,
Where things live, die, and sleep.

The ocean is where you go to ponder.
It relaxes the mind, body, and soul.
In the ocean I often wander.
It helps me focus on my goal.

"Welcome, good people, one and all, to our little piece

Of theatre, which tells a tragic tale from Ancient Greece.

So seat yourselves and try to stifle snore, sneeze and cough,

And please ensure that all your mobile phones have been switched off!

Let's begin atop a mountain, Olympus to be precise,

Where the gods and goddesses chilled out - 'twas paradise.

But something was amiss up here, things weren't serene and calm.

Three feisty girls were threatening to do each other harm..."

Half term homework

Homework task 1. - Climate Change  - The Regenerators

Work to be uploaded to Google Classroom

On Monday 25th October, BBC Bitesize (link can be found on Google Classroom) will launch The Regenerators, an ambitious new initiative that will educate and inspire children, young people and families to take simple steps to build a greener future.
We know that climate change is the number one concern of young people today, so we are here to equip you with the skills needed to create change and influence others to look after our planet and the world around us.

There will be a series of videos and articles that include simple and practical ideas that you can try at home to help save money and live well.
Your homework over half term is to watch the videos and read the articles together with your family. We would like to you try out some of the practical ideas at home and take pictures or record videos of you doing this as a family.
Upload the videos to Google Classroom on this assignment. Think about how are these steps helping our planet?

Please be creative with your ideas on how you would like to present your homework. You may want to make a PicCollage, a video, a flipgrid video or simply upload your pictures with a small explanation of what you have done as a family to help build a greener future.
