This week in school we have been learning all about looking after the planet. We would like you to continue this at home. Can you look at the bingo square below and choose some activities to complete at home to help look after the planet? Pick as many as you would like or choose your own activities which are helping the earth.

Can you upload photos, videos and Eco activities work to Google Classroom to share with your teachers and class.

 

 

 

 

Help at home with the recycling. Learn about what goes in each bin.

With an adult, safely pick up litter in your local community.

Help in the garden, water the plants, plant some seeds, help pull weeds.

 

Choose/ think of your own activity

 

Can you look after our planet at home?

 

Choose to switch off all devices  for your own home earth hour and TVs and read a book or  take part in some exercise.

Create some artwork out of recycled items

Create a diary about what you have done that is Eco Friendly

Do some research about things we can all do to help the planet.

Christmas Holiday Homework  2020

 

Please find a Christmas activity booklet ( remember that Christmas lasts for 8 days from Christmas Day) to print off or look at to copy the ideas.

What a different week we have had! Well done to you all for trying your hardest with your Distance Learning. You have definitely been engaging with your Google Classroom tasks and our on-line learning. Da iawn!

 

Because we will be continuing with Distance Learning for the whole of next week, we want you to have the weekend to catch up on any assignments and tasks that you have to complete from this. week.   • Click on Google for Education
  • It may ask you to sign back in again
  • Then you will probably have to verify your account. Look at the email address and make sure it is your account. If it is, press verify.

  • When you are on the Year 3 page, click on the tab that is called ‘Classwork’

Week 1 homework 11.9.20

1. Two Mathletics activities have been set-Place Value and Number line order.

 

2. Research what a ‘gladiator’ is. You can record your research in any way you like, a PowerPoint, poster, leaflet or any other way you choose. 


3. Bug Club reading- the children have nearly completed two very detailed reading assessments and the information from these, will determine future reading levels. For this week, continue with the level assigned from Year 2.

For this week, all learners will have the same spellings. They are the days of the week in Welsh. We write our dates in Welsh in Year 3. You should remember how to say the days of the week as it was a task on Seesaw during distance ( lockdown) learning.
