Learning Experiences

Our current topic in Year 1 is Mini Zoo.

Throughout our topic we will be learning all about which animals hatch from eggs and finding out about the life cycles of different animals. We will be caring for our own eggs and learning how to care for living things as well as trying to answer our big question - Are eggs alive?

What shape is a bubble?

Take a look at the bubble wands we designed as part of our science experiment ‘What shape is a bubble?’

We had to make a prediction of what we thought would happen after we blew a bubble from our different shaped bubble wands. We then learnt that all of the bubble wands made a spherical shape bubble as a bubble will always take the simplest shape.
