Minecraft for Education – Build a village in Lesotho After our pupil voice session this week we would like you to create your own Village similar to one in Lesotho. You need to create a village that reflects what you have learnt about Lesotho this term. Add the facts that you know about Lesotho on signs/boards as you enter each building or area, try to include some items too. Once you have created your village, Screenshot images of your creation and upload it to google classroom.

Task 1 - Google classroom task – Mission Homework This week for homework we would like you to design an informative poster on 2 or 3 of the beatitudes. Come up with rules for fair play when playing football in school. This year Earth Day is on Thursday 22nd April and the global theme is to Restore the Earth. On this day pupils are encouraged to wear green or blue into school for the day to show how much we are thinking about the earth and our enthusiasm for taking part in World Earth Day. Over the Easter holidays please can you plan your outfit for Earth Day. You could wear a blue/green t-shirt that you already own or you might want to create your own earth themed outfit for the day. You could use some recycled items to help you create your own or you could create your own earth themed design on a t-shirt. Your costume could be linked to part of the earth that you think needs to be protected such as a rainforest or ocean themed costume. You could try and make some links to the Global Goals.
There will also be an additional computer safety task posted by Mr Dyer for you to complete over the Easter Break.

To celebrate World Children's Day, we would like to hear you create your own perfect world. We know that this year has been a little tricky but we would like you to imagine your own perfect world.
We would love for you to let your imagination run wild, to reimagine the world. Here are some ideas that may help you: - A greener and more sustainable world (linked to the Global Goals) - A future of wellbeing and happiness - A future where everyone is equally (linked to your rights)
You can either create a FlipGrid video, slides or draw/create your perfect world and upload a picture to Google Classroom.
You can Post this on the Stream / but there will be an assignment for a Google slides!
FlipGrid Instructions: login to hwb > go to Google for Education > Click classwork button in the google classroom area
Use the link (in the google classroom instructions) to open Flipgrid (hwb login - google account) and record your speech about why recycling is important. We have been learning about how to convey our opinions using clarity and precision this week. This homework task will help you with your learning next week.
When you have finished - add/attach your work from google drive area, click HAND IN to hand in your work for marking and feedback. Flipgrid videos can simply be submitted into the flipgrid topic area.
