Dance

Dance club

Dance club takes place every Tuesday 3.30-4.30 during the spring term. Pupils work interdependently to create group dances and learn set dance phrases to perform at The annual Rubicon Dance festival.

Sports Cardiff Dance Competition 2019 Winners

Well done to the Dance team who performed in the Sports Cardiff Dance Competition on Wednesday 10th April. Pupils took part in individual and team dances in front of a panel of judges. Over 150 pupils entered the solo dance competition which was gradually whittled down to the final 6 with 3 pupils from our school making the final dance off(Bella, Shayla and Gabriella)Well done girls, such a great achievement. However, a big congratulations has to go to Shyla who went on to achieve 1st Place. It was a fabulous evening of dance and our team performed with beaming smiles and enthusiasm.Those smiles continued when presented Sports Cardiff Dance Champions.

Rubicon Dance 2019

Well done to our dance group who performed at the Rubicon Dance schools’ Showcase in St. David’s Hall. The pupils showcased their dancing talents on a professional stage celebrating creativity and bringing young people together. A fabulous performance!
