At St Philip Evans the four purposes of the new curriculum for Wales are at driving force of our teaching and learning.  Through a broad and balanced curriculum, we enable all pupils to be:

* Ambitious, capable learners ready to learn throughout their lives

* Enterprising, creative contributors ready to play a full part in life and work

* Ethical, informed citizens of Wales and the world

* Healthy, confident individuals ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society

Our class teacher is Miss Stone

Our teaching assistants are Mrs Tyler and Mrs Sanejo.

Keep up to date by following our school Twitter account, and sign up to the Schoop app for daily information.

Children are expected to come to school wearing our school uniform.

Please ensure all items of clothing are clearly labelled with their name.

Please provide a spare change of clothing for your child in case of an accident!

Homework is sent home on a Friday in their purple book.

Homework must be returned to school the following Wednesday.

As a healthy school, we encourage pupils to be healthy, confident individuals by bringing fruit/vegetables to school each day.

Please ensure that your child's snack is in a bag/container, clearly labelled with their name.

Alternatively, children may buy fruit/vegetables from Y Siop Llysiau a Ffrwythau in school for 30p per day.

Children should bring only water to school each day.

Water should be in a clear, transparent bottle, clearly labelled with your child's name.

Toy Fund is collected every Monday

We ask for a £1 weekly donation to purchase resources to enhance our learning inside and outside of the classroom.
