Athletics Club
Athletics club takes place every Tuesday during the summer term. Pupils train to improve speed, stamina and distance in running as well as to improve the skills of team relay and baton change over. Athletics club consists of teams from years 3 to 6. The pupils train to compete in Quad kid Athletics Competition organised by Sport Cardiff and the annual Catholic athletics championship.
Catholic Athletic Championship 2019
Congratulations to our fantastic Athletics team who competed in the Welsh catholic schools Athletic Championship. The pupils excelled in their team relays, individual races and field events resulting in an outstanding accomplishment of third place overall in the competition-the best result we have ever achieved!

Quad Kids Final 2019
Congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 Athletics team who came third in the Quad kids Final at Cardiff International Stadium.
Quad Kids 2019
Congratulations to our team, they have reached the final of the Quad kids Athletics which takes place this Friday.
Quad kids Heat 1
The Athetics team took part in Quad kids heat 1. Each member of the team took part in the 75m sprint, vortex throw, standing long jump and 600m long distance run. The pupils strived to achieve their personal best in each event and displayed great team spirit.
We achieved 3rd Place and will now go on to compete in the final at Cardiff International Staduim on 28th June.
